What It Takes to Be a Brainy Kids Place Teacher
Parents often tell us: “We chose Brainy Kids Place because of the teachers.” And it’s true—our teachers are the heart of everything we do. But being a Brainy Kids Place teacher isn’t just about showing up for a job. It’s about meeting high standards of professionalism, safety, and heart.
Here’s what it really takes to join our team.
Education and Training
Our teachers bring a strong foundation in early childhood education. Many have degrees, certifications, and specialized training in child development. Every staff member completes orientation and ongoing training to stay current with best practices in early learning.
Safety First
Nothing matters more than the safety of children. That’s why all teachers must:
- Pass comprehensive background checks
- Maintain CPR and First Aid certification
- Train in emergency procedures (including the use of LifeVac)
- Adhere to state licensing requirements—and our own higher standards
A Heart for Children
Skills and training matter, but so does heart. We look for teachers who:
- Truly love working with children
- Show patience, empathy, and creativity
- Understand that every child is unique and deserves respect
- Bring energy and positivity to the classroom each day
Commitment to Growth
Teaching is a journey. At Brainy Kids Place, we invest in professional development so teachers continue to learn, grow, and bring fresh ideas to the classroom. From workshops to hands-on coaching, our team is always sharpening their skills.
A Culture of Support
Great teachers thrive in supportive environments. That’s why we celebrate and appreciate our team, creating a positive workplace that keeps teachers motivated and inspired. Low turnover means children enjoy consistent, trusted relationships with the same teachers year after year.
More Than a Job
Being a Brainy Kids Place teacher is more than employment—it’s a calling. Our teachers shape futures, nurture hearts, and help children grow into confident learners. Parents can feel proud knowing their children are guided by such dedicated professionals.
